The toad was not afraid of the fish. She had a gentle and kind heart, but also a sharp and witty tongue. She said, "Hello, rude fish. I'm enjoying the sun and the breeze. Don't you know this is a public lake? You should learn some manners and respect others."
The fish was surprised by the toad's reply. He expected her to be scared or angry, but she was calm and confident. He felt a strange attraction to her, but he quickly dismissed it. He said, "You are very brave, toad. But also very foolish. You don't belong here. You are too slow and weak to survive in this lake. You should be grateful that I don't eat you right now."
The toad smiled and said, "You are very strong, fish. But also very ignorant. You don't understand anything. You are too fast and busy to enjoy this lake. You should be thankful that I don't kiss you right now."
The fish was shocked by the toad's remark. He wondered what she meant by that. He said, "What? Kiss me? Why would you do that? Do you have a death wish?"
The toad laughed and said, "No, I have a love wish. Haven't you heard of the legend? They say that if a toad kisses a fish, the fish will turn into a prince. And then they will live happily ever after."
The fish was amused by the toad's story. He thought it was a silly and impossible tale. He said, "That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. There is no such thing as a prince. You don't know what I can do. How about this: I'll make you a deal. If you can catch me, I'll let you kiss me. And if you can't, I'll eat you. What do you say?"

You don't know what you need. You don't know what you can be. How about this: I'll take your deal. If I can catch you, I'll kiss you. And if I can't, you'll eat me. I say yes."

The toad leaped after the fish, jumping and hopping on the lily pads. The fish was fast and agile, but the toad was smart and patient. She followed the fish's movements and anticipated his turns. She waited for the right moment and then pounced on him.
